Pre-production {Permissions}
First task was to approve my topic of documentary from the head of the department. Sir Rehan. After getting the approval. I choose my coordinator. Miss Nirmal Javed. The Main approval that I needed was to shoot in the city. because Swabi is a sensitive area. it was affected by the Taliban war against the state. It’s a hub to many Army units. Military operations are being carried out. so I was worried that how they will let me shoot videography there. And Also will they let me take drone shoots? so with a puzzle mind I decided to meet the deputy commissioner of Swabi. and I never expected the warm response that came out. MR Salman Khan Lodhi was very corporative. he not only gave me permission to shoot but also wrote letters to the concerned departments about my activity for which I’m very thankful to him. Then I meet with the DPO of Swabi. Mr. Khalid Hamdani, and discuss this with him. he was also very warm welcoming, and even provided me security. which helped us a lot while shooting.
