In Pakistan it seems like people are surrounded be completely false news and negative news which is full of violence and hate. Every channel every social site and every radio station have certain policies and they are working on it rather than showing the positive image of our country to the world. They revel us worse guy than good. This is matter of shame. And not a single person seems to be carrying about it.
If we look at the history of Pakistan it looks like Pakistan is always been in the effects of different propaganda. Especially our relations with our neighbor countries are not as peace full as how it’s supposed to be. So everyone tried their best to bring us down. And unfortunately our so called leaders love money rather than caring about their nation. First there was just India. Then America came. Then Afghanistan and Iran joined them. Then the rise of Taliban had led to many anti Pakistani propaganda. They not only made us terrorist internationally but also made sectarian conflicts in Pakistan. And that too with the help of Pakistani media and Pakistan people. In which mostly illiterate get affected easily. They used religion as they know that Muslims cannot go against their religion. They injected their policies into innocent people mind which them after raised so many anti Pakistani propaganda. Due to which military was forced to take action and many innocent people were killed.
When we look at things from a wider angle, we can see how India is doing it's own propaganda against CPEC to divert attention from Kashmir. India is unleashing baseless propaganda against China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and nothing good is expected from New Delhi. Delhi was using negative strategy to divert the attention of the international community from Kashmir issue. The $56 billion project passes through Pakistan's northern areas, which India claims is part of the disputed Jammu and Kashmir territory. The Chinese Foreign Ministry stated they have repeatedly reiterated that the CPEC is an economic cooperation scheme that is not directed against third parties and has nothing to do with territorial power disputes and does not affect China's principled position on the Kashmir issue."The international community should focus on human rights violations and terrible crimes committed by Indian occupation forces in Indian occupied Kashmir,” The ruler further said that Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the aspiration of Kashmiris in line with United Nations Security Council resolutions. “Kashmiris should be given right to decide their fate.”. In this way, India made a propaganda against CPEC just to divert people's attention from Kashmir and get youth against CPEC.
Another point that should be added here is how Private Television Channels contribute to such and other propaganda. In the year 2002, Private TV Channels emerged in Pakistan.there are more than 72 channels within Pakistan. We have seen a lot of good programs on corruption and many social evil. TV channels play a biggest Role to highlight the corruption of Politicians in different projects. But it would be better if it was done unbiased. TV channels for their own interest hide corruption scandals and take benefits from Political parties of Business tycoons.
Rather than supporting corrupt elements, Media channels should aware people of their rights. Instead of using difficult terminologies, Anchors and analyst should give a proper introduction to different projects, their budget and cost. That even a common man understands what they are talking about. TV channels should give platforms to people to raise their voice against corruption.
