Relations Between PSO2 And PSO2: NGS

  • PSO2 was released in 2012, and PSO2: NGS was released in June 2021. It tells the story of PSO2 a thousand years later. Let's introduce the relationship between these two games for everyone.

    Equipment

    PSO2 weapons and units will be usable in PSO2: NGS but their effects and the stats required to equip them will be changed. The PSO2: NGS Enhancement system will not increase them, but the ground level will be converted.

    PSO2 +35 weapons and +10 units will become +40 weapons and +40 units on PSO2: NGS.

    Changes made by Weapon Craft and Timed Abilities will not take effect, but Augments will be changed to apply differently in PSO2: NGS.

    Equipment obtained in PSO2: NGS will not be usable in PSO2.

    The character's race and gender will no longer influence stats, unlike PSO2.

    Fashions

    In New Genesis, you will be able to freely access all body types, male and female, Human and Cast.

    Humans will encompass the physical specifics of the Newman and Deuman races: walleyes, horns, pointed ears.

    These body models will exist in version PSO2 and version PSO2: NGS. Layering Wear, Outfit, and Part de Cast can only be used on PSO2 models; NGS models will need N-Layering, N-Setwear, N-Parts.

    All Accessories and Hairstyle can be used freely between models.

    PSO2 Bodypaint, Facepaint, Eyebrow, Eyelashe, and Eye will only be applicable on PSO2 models, and vice versa for N-Bodypaint which will only work on NGS models.

    PSO2 Weapons Camos will be usable in NGS and we will be able to equip several camos simultaneously, one per weapon type.

    Game features

    Alliances, Group Chat, and Friend List will be kept in New Genesis.

    Symbol Arts will share the same system and will be usable in PSO2 and PSO2: NGS.

    The AC and SG will be common to PSO2 and PSO2: NGS, while the Mesetas and FUN Points will be exclusive to PSO2.

    The currency that will replace the PSO2 NGS Meseta on PSO2: NGS will be the N-meseta.
