Emotions are an essential part of human expressions. Our thoughts and surroundings create a straight impact on our emotions. Whereas, films, which is considered as a significant part of media is unswervingly linked with the emotions. Different researchers prove that basic six human emotions can be influenced by the specific content of films.
To find out the influence of six basic human emotions, such as anger, love, surprise, disgust, fear and anger, researcher has to conduct a study by using an experimental research method in which six different movies based on six different human emotions will be shown to different groups of people. Target audience would be teen agers as they belong to the age group which is more inclined towards films.
Being a Graphic Designer creating impact with visual or typography has always been my game but how media can affect behavioral emotions was my interest, which led me through the journey to choose “Modeling and Analysis of Films on Influences on Human Emotions and Behaviours” as my M.S (Media Studies) Thesis topic.
