Tyceno said Rack demanded large amounts of 2K22 MT money from its customers offering them extraordinary returns of up to 40%. One victim aged 21 told us that he had lost $6000 but was supposed to receive $11,000 because of the "interest" the victim was supposed to receive. "The scam was initiated by this guy Rack placing hundreds of thousands of dollar bets in order to show off how much cash he was allegedly able to get."
Another victim, who was 17, lodged a cybercrime report with the Australian Cyber Security Centre after it was reported that he had lost $6,000 as a result of the scam."He [Rack] explained it as being a loan and then getting paid back with interest," the teenager said. "He was well-known in the community , and took advantage of it to trick me and other people into transferring large amounts of money."That's an impressive leap for the game that used to play second fiddle Electronic Arts' NBA Live. Having left that franchise behind, the game is managing to stand apart even from its source material according to Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick who also said that the game's success does not depend on whether the league is doing well or not.
