"The persuit of happyness" was released in November,2006. Starring Will Smith as Chris Gardner and Thandie Newton as Linda Gardener who are on screen couple and parent of a boy. They both love their young boy Jaden Smith as Christopher Gardener. Will Smith is depicted as a medical device salesman in the movie, who sells a medical device to doctors. The demand of this device was high in market so Chris Gardener decides to buy them in lot when he buys them suddenly the demand gets low and doctors stopped buying this device by saying it "Unnecessary luxuries".
This is the point where he and his family suffers financially. Linda wife of Chris Gardener, is a working woman but she alone cannot run the household. Chris Gardener goes daily to the doctors and tries to sell his device but the doctors doesn't buy his device he still tries to sell it but he sells only one in months and he has to sell at least two of the devices to run his household. One day on his way to a doctors office he sees a very rich man which inspires him a lot. He was a broker in a brokerage firm. This is the turning point he shows interest in becoming a broker like him he tells him you have to work as an intern in the firm and the firm hires only one person out of many at the end of the internship exam and the internship was unpaid which was the main issue. He talks to his wife Linda about it but she was so depressed because of the financial condition of the family as they have no money to pay the rent of the house or have anything good to eat. Linda moves out of the house with his son Christopher Gardener but Chris insists that his son should live with him.
She leaves his son with his father and leaves them. Chris Gardener as a single parent suffers a lot they have to leave the home as they are left with no money even one night they have to stay in a bathroom, he joins the internship and with that he also tries to sell the medical devices sometimes he gets lucky and doctors buy but after many failures. He suffers a lot with his son both of them faced many difficulties in search of a word known as "HOPE". Even one day a beggar steals his medical device because the beggar thought it is some kind of a time machine, he runs before him and met a car accident and he lost one shoe in the accident, he goes to his internship office with one shoe. At the end of the internship he gets hired and this was the time where he feels that all his hardships were worth it.
Since this movie is based on a true story, we should never lose hope and should be determined and confident towards our work.
