  • Sheikh Mudassir Muhammad Allama Iqbal Sir Muhammad Iqbal (November 9, 1877 – April 21, 1938), widely known as Allama Iqbal, was a poet, philosopher and politician, as well as an academic, barrister and scholar in British India who is widely regarded as having inspired the Pakistan Movement. He is called the "Spiritual Father of Pakistan." He is considered one of the most important figures in Urdu literature, with literary work in both Urdu and Persian. In the 1923 New Years Honours he was made a Knight Bachelor by King George V, While studying law and philosophy in England, Iqbal became a member of the London branch of the All-India Muslim League. Later, during the League's December 1930 session, he delivered his most famous presidential speech known as the Allahabad Address in which he pushed for the creation of a Muslim state in north-west India. Background Iqbal's father, Sheikh Noor Muhammad (died 1930), was a tailor, not formally educated, but a religious man. Iqbal's mother Imam Bibi, a Punjabi Muslim from Sialkot, was described as a polite and humble woman who helped the poor and her neighbours with their problems. She died on 9 November 1914 in Sialkot. Iqbal loved his mother, and on her death he expressed his feelings of pathos in a poetic form elegy. Marriages Iqbal married three times. His first marriage was held in 1895, when he was 18 years old, his bride, was Karim Bibi, was the daughter of physician Khan Bahadur Ata Muhammad Khan. Her sister was the mother of director and music composer Khwaja Khurshid Anwar. The marriage was arranged by their families in the usual Indian manner, and the couple were blessed with two children, a daughter Miraj Begum and a son, Aftab Iqbal. Later Iqbal married Sardar Begum, and they became the parents of a son, Javed Iqbal, who was to become a judge. Iqbal's third marriage was with Mukhtar Begum and it was held in December 1914, shortly after the death of Iqbal's mother the previous November. Book In Urdu · Ilm ul Iqtisad (1903) · Bang-i-Dara (1924) · Bal-i-Jibril (1935) · Zarb-i Kalim (1936) Books In Persian · Asrar-i-Khudi (1915) · Rumuz-i-Bekhudi (1917) · Payam-i-Mashriq (1923) · Zabur-i-Ajam (1927) · Javid Nama (1932) · Pas Cheh Bayed Kard ai Aqwam-e-Sharq (1936) · Armughan-e-Hijaz (1938) (in Persian and Urdu) Iqbal, Jinnah and concept of Pakistan Ideologically separated from Congress Muslim leaders, Iqbal had also been disillusioned with the politicians of the Muslim League, owing to the factional conflict that plagued the League in the 1920s. Discontent with factional leaders like Muhammad Shafi and Fazl-ur-Rahman, Iqbal came to believe that only Jinnah was a political leader capable of preserving unity and fulfilling the League's objectives of Muslim political empowerment. Building a strong, personal correspondence with Jinnah, Iqbal was an influential force in convincing Jinnah to end his self-imposed exile in London, return to India and take charge of the League. Iqbal firmly believed that Jinnah was the only leader capable of drawing Indian Muslims to the League and maintaining party unity before the British and the Congress: I know you are a busy man but I do hope you won't mind my writing to you often, as you are the only Muslim in India today to whom the community has right to look up for safe guidance through the storm which is coming to North-West India and, perhaps, to the whole of India.

  • Abdul Jalil Wrong face of a MUslim. I would like to suggest the" Retrial of Asia Maseeh Case in supreme court infront of Khadim hussain rizvi to make him satisfy:" open trial based on evidences , khadim hussain shall provide all the evidences against her, if he and his followers have any because it will not continue like this as, thousands of educational inistitutions are closed across the country , so i am wondering that for how long shall we compromise and sacrifice our education for nonsenses either on government part or it is a personal fame politics, how looongg? If it is a democractic country then kindly give this right of freedom of expression to KHADIM RIZVI , might succeed to realize that our court understand the Rule of Law less than him? At the same time if he thinks that he is the one and only who safeguard Islam or Prophet (PBUH), should explain what has he done to make Islam stronger than before? what role he had played over the years to unify Muslim or Islam?, what are his contributions to promote this muslim country's Education, Economi and other Positive practical work?, has he or any of his follower been to Mars or Moon through his spiritual education?,or any other of his positive contribution to his people? Islam and Muslim are two seperate words with totally different meanings and images. Islam also explains the opportunity of exploring universe in the Holly Quran in a bigger perspective, so, every pakistani will know how far khadim rizvi have reached in his spiritual education?, How many continants , oceans and planets has he explored ? becouse Prophet (SAW) also says in his Hadith that " travel to china when it is needed , for the sake of education, so prophet (PBUH) has pointed only towars your spiritual educatio?, isnt diversity an education ?isn't mastering the skill of tolerance living with people like Asia maseeh a lesson of prosperity and good demonstration of Prophet(PBUH's) education? In todays 21st century your spiritual and enthusiastic speeches can not make people good muslim or anyone educated in that way you are delivering or your voice can possibly reach to your followers through spirituality, its only through internet or any other media platform which is the invention of christian and jews, isn't it a matter of shame for Muslims that we are like "aglay k brtan pe khana kha rehay hain oor halaal oor haraam ka taayun krtay hain"? in my languge , we use to say" khuro piyalaan gani hote wali" and this is exactly what's happening. Christian and jews have a complete control over all type of media ,i think they control the movement of khadim rizvi aswell and what are those of khadim rizvi's inventaions ? by the way khadim rizvi don't really like media , right? and still he is the one who uses media for his each enthusiastic speech, why khadim saib? its haraam acording to your interpretation of islam, when you youyrself dont follow islam practically then the question here is, does prophet Muhammad (SAW) needs you to safeguard islam? in fact the word labaik from your mouth hurts Holly Prophets soul, when millions of Muslims are suffering due to your rally in the his name ,do you really think that the consequences of your hateful movement will make the Prophet(PBUH) happy ? The reality is, these people have made our Holly prohets great Name and Respectable Position in islam a taboo through their these terifying activities. I would be very glade if pakistan suppreme court will be smart enough to imediately take this man in its custody and retrial the case of Asia maseeh through live telecast , where khadim rizvi should provide all evidences against this woman imediately , without wasting county's time . as he claims to be the only one who safeguard islam then i believe that he must have more than enough evidences during this 9 years of a case.

  • Abuzar Saeed (ARTICLE) How badly we handle freedom of expression? (Pakistan, India, France and China) Freedom of expression or freedom of speech is the right of every person to express his/her ideas, views, thoughts or opinions without the fear of being retaliated in response by the government, society or by any other institution or person. In general, to express oneself freely without any restriction is a natural right of every human being in the world. However, being a natural right – it doesn’t mean ‘absolute freedom’ is allowed, as it creates room for anarchy and confusion in society by dispersion of sensitive or false information. This aspect of freedom demands for a proper structure and boundaries for the dissemination of information in society. Freedom of expression in some of the countries of the world: Liberty or structures to express ideas freely exist in different forms and restrictions in countries of the world. Ability to disseminate a message or information of any type in society depends upon the overall background of a state, its history and culture .e.g. French media may allow the publishing of caricatures of the Islamic Prophet in their state. However, such act is blasphemous in Muslim’s religion and considered to be disrespecting in many other states of the world. The state of freedom of expression in some of these countries is, 1. Pakistan: In Constitution of Pakistan, article 19 authorizes the right of freedom of expression and speech, and freedom of the press with specific restrictions. Any material that is considered blasphemous against Islam is illegal. Sensitive information regarding military and state is also censored by these institutions. In argument, censorship against blasphemous material can be justified by keeping in light the volatile nature of Pakistani society. However, abuse in this case exist, where individuals or certain established orders use such a law against conflicted party in order to achieve a upper hand by suppressing their argument or in extreme sense to exterminate them .e.g. allegations against Geo for disrespecting Islamic personalities in Shaista Wahidi morning show by other media units. Censorship against sensitive information can be justified as right and as wrong as well at the same time. Consequentialism may suggest that the peaceful consequence of omitting a truth can justify the act of omission. However, deontologist beg to differ that sensitive or not, truth is truth and must be revealed to society at any cost. Apart from that, an absence of check and balance exist in Pakistan’s media in case of hate speech. Many times shows or individuals .e.g. Aamir Liaquat Hussain (Bol), are justified in the name of free speech ignoring the fact that they are promoting the same thing that the law is trying to avoid .i.e. narrow minded opinions and hate against other sects and religions/states. 2. India: The Constitution of India in Article 19, 20, 21, and 22 provide the right of freedom to its citizens and identifies the freedom of speech and expression as one of its six basic freedoms. Under Indian law, the freedom of press doesn’t allow an absolute right to express. Clause (2) of Article 19 enables the legislature to impose certain restrictions on press, I. Security of the State, II. Friendly relations with foreign States, III. Public order, IV. Decency and morality, V. Contempt of court, VI. Defamation, VII. Incitement to an offence, VIII. Sovereignty and integrity of India. Cases like abuse against minorities’ .e.g. Gujrat massacre or Kashmir issue goes unnoticed in Indian media and an obvious presence of sensationalism against Pakistan (their perceived arch nemesis) can be felt throughout its structure .e.g. channels like Aaj Tak, Arnab Goswami, and etc. 3. France: French Constitution may allow freedom of speech in its state, but it also encourages the law that would limit its influence. This aspect is discussed in Law of July 29, 1881 – on freedom of press that allows press to act accordingly to its wish but also sets limits that can be legally installed. Two of its important Articles in this aspect are, Article 10 that says,” No one may be disturbed on account of his opinions, even religious ones, as long as the manifestation of such opinions does not interfere with the established Law and Order.” And Article 11 “The free communication of ideas and of opinions is one of the most precious rights of man. Any citizen may therefore speak, write and publish freely, except what is tantamount to the abuse of this liberty in the cases determined by Law.” However, it is unclear how the French law judge cases related to freedom of speech that regularly come up in the French media .e.g. The satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, which was attacked by terrorists for disrespecting the Islamic Prophet, was apparently sued approximately fifty times between 1992 and 2014 but proved to put no end to such cases. Comedian Dieudonné, known for his anti-Semitic performances, has also been sued many times over the years and was recently sentenced to suspended prison time for advocating terrorism. Political figures have also been sued for illegal speeches. Jean-Marie Le Pen (former head of far-right party Front National) and her father (the Front National’s current leader) were linked to legal controversy relating to Holocaust denial and hate speech accusations .e.g. in 2003 - he was sentenced to pay a fine of 10,000 Euros and 5,000 Euros for making anti-Muslim remarks. In 2007, a Member of Parliament named Christian Vanneste was sentenced to pay a fine of 3,000 Euros and 2,000 Euros for making homophobic remarks in the media. 4. China: Modern day China severely restricts its people from individual freedom of speech even though providing them freedom in their constitution – Article 35 states "Citizens of the PRC have freedom of speech, publication, assembly, association, procession and demonstration." Communism argues for a right of expression and press. As each individual is equally important, each should have a valid point of view. Marx defended the rights of freedom of press (1842) that restrictions, like censorship were instituted by the bourgeois elite. He called censorship a tool of the powerful to oppress the powerless. However, being primarily an economic system, it don’t shed any light specifically on individual freedom of expression/speech, as individual ideas must be centered around the benefit of society and state – not around oneself. China at present controls most of the flow and dissemination of information on every major media platform through check and balance, and restrictions like absence of Google and Facebook. Internet for that matter is shaped according to party’s perspective that what it sees fit for its people and what’s not. Censorship is mostly applied on political based opinions and content, especially anything that goes against the state. In theory, ideas may exist with main stream approach of freedom of expression and speech in these nations. However, certain dominant aspects don’t allow for the delivery of these ideas openly as we are told around the world.

The urs Of Data sahab celebrated every year in november. Devootes came across from all over the Pakistan to fullfill their needs. some people getting manats for their problems a well said that no body go hungry from Data Ki Nagri. i share my personal experience i was visiting data darbar in december 2012 when i reached it was time about 3 AM but But people had a lot of rush. some people rissiting Quran Majeed some often their nawafil some people reading darood pak it was a scene that was crying. some people spend their whole life at data darbar to surve visited peoples some people planted milk stall Drink free milk as much as possible Wali Allah makes reference to especially a couple of issues which 'Abd al-Rahim used to talk about. One is the issue of connection of the one and many, God and His animals. The Intelligible Forms (Suwar-I 'Ilmiyyah) that we see are not had of outside the real world; their existence is reliant on our insight; it is our insight that has showed up in such a large number of structures. We can neither say that they are indistinguishable with learning, for information was and these structures did not exist; nor would we be able to state that they are not the same as information, for these diverse things require some reason (mansha') and ground (qayyum) and that is information. Learning is without quality and variety and this assortment does not obstruct its inclination which is free from all quality and variety. God says in the Qur'an that "He is with you. The issue is to decide the idea of this withness (ma'iyyat). As indicated by 'Abd al-Rahim, this "withness" isn't just learned Cam it is real likewise; yet this isn't care for the relationship of a substance with another substance, or of a quality with another trait or of a substance with a property. God's withness with the animals is very unique in relation to it—one that isn't inside human perception. He clarifies that distinctive individuals have deciphered this withness in various ways. Some imagine that God includes everything through His insight, power, hearing and sight, as it is said in the Qur'an. Some say that each activity and response, development and quality, that is unmistakable on the planet is from God, as is said in the Qur'an. Others say that everything that exists is He and that there is nothing in presence with the exception of He, as is specified in the Qur'an.
