I need... moreI am student of MS media studies, so I am supposed to choose a topic for subject “Project Proposal Writing” in this subject we need to clear our vision and propose the idea that what we are going to do in our research , on what issue and why. I need to defend the proposed idea in the research proposal. I decided to do my thesis on that area in which I have a lot of interest and is the kind of issue which needs to be addressed. So the topic name is, “Hate in a tweet: Exploring the role of hate speech through twitter towards promoting Islamophobia”.
Basically, This proposal presents the initiatives to research on hate speech through twitter and its influence on Islamophobia. The research gaps in the selected subject areas are identified through literature review. The research gaps are insufficient research work concerning hate speech through twitter and Islamophobia, and lack of initiatives taken by government of Pakistani to control this issue.
