Regular officials are great. I'm not sure I blame the ref in Seattle Monday. If YOU were in the final stretch,surrounded by thousands of Seattle fans going nuts in a sea of bodies, and spotting an Seahawk who looked like he had his hands on the ball... Wouldn't you get scared and declare a touchdown? I would. The majority of people would. And , even though Madden NFL 23's officials could be completely incompetent in their individual capacities, they are worthy of credit for being a thousand times more efficient than replacements and also, disregarding the IMDen NFL 23 influence of Madden NFL 23 supporters the players, coaches and players that are completely batshit crazy all the time.

Roger Goodell is awful. Seriously. First off, as Bobby Big Wheel pointed out Tuesday, it's baffling that there wasn't better replacement officials some time ago. Despite the fact that most college refs didn't want to break ranks, the Madden NFL 23 could have been more proactive in finding decent replacements through this process. The second reason is that a lot of people have blamed the lockout on the owners' greed. BULLSHIT. America is obsessed with football. We were all watching regardless. Football is so integral to our fall routines that no one wanted to put down the TV, even without refs with no clues about what they were watching.
