What Is Pakistan Today..?

  •

      Recalling a citation that said;

                            “With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve…”

    Pakistan, a once illustrious and glorious state, achieved by extreme hardships and difficulties, started to climb the ladder of success by leaps and bounds, however, evanescent happiness obliterated by indescribable sadness, it lost its tempo slowly and gradually to the point where it is now entangled in a web of countless miseries and problems, howbeit, the ambition to be on top of the food chain still subsists.

      Perhaps, due to the loss or mayhap negligence of faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, the Pakistan of today stands in crises. Poverty, illiteracy, energy crises, overpopulation, inflation, corruption, terrorism, economy crises and political instability are the major issues that tether the country from attaining wonders.

      Still and all, on another aspect, though struggling in the field of development, many new projects are under construction:

    - Power plants, such as; geothermal, hydroelectric, solar, solar-thermal, atomic and wind power plants are being fabricated rapidly to get rid of all the energy crises.

    -China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a framework of regional connectivity, will enhance lives of about three billion people.

    -Law making and law enforcing bodies of the state are getting strict day by day.

    -The buccaneers of the state are being brought to justice.

    -Terrorism is subsided and effectively tackled in recent times.

    -Law and order situations in various tribal areas are returning to normalcy.

    -World’s fastest growing Muslim economy, in coming years, is predicted to be Pakistan.

      But, why is it that, even though with such zeal and zest in the blood, the nation fails to disencumber themselves from these piles of issues? Unfortunately and regrettably, “There are nations that desire separate countries… Pakistan is a country that needs a nation…”

      And as the adage goes, “Don’t know why it happens…but it happens…” Perhaps, a breeze of ecstasy awaits the country tomorrow but today, with firm will, hard struggle is inevitable if Pakistan wishes to go like clockwork and prosper.
