My guess was that these two teams were sick of seeing each other after the week of joint practices, and just wanted it to end. Below are my Studs and Duds of the game, followed up by some notes. Studs:Cam Sims - This is a bit of a tough one, because Sims dropped one that hit him right in the hands, leading to an interception, BUT, I look at how these young guys bounce back after a mistake, and I felt Sims did an excellent job of putting that behind him, and moving forward. The touchdown that got called back for an illegal formation was simply an amazing effort. We saw his route running ability, length, hands and toughness all on that play. The San Francisco 49ers get going at 1:00 PM. against the Detroit Lions, but there’s obviously other games that many of you may be curious about, and if you play fantasy, may be interested in while the 49ers play. I’m trying to figure out what I’ll watch while I make protein pancakes and do my morning cardio. Most likely I’ll be watching some of the Cleveland Browns. The Brows are gonna Brown, but I’d love to see what comedy I’ll get out of them going up against the New Orleans Saints. I guess this goes with if the refs could keep their penalty flags in their pockets too, but I’ll get to that.
