Path of Exile Prophecies will be removed in the next league

  • More than half of the time has passed since Path of Exile:Scourge was released and Grinding Gear Games has already prepared for the next league update. Path of Exile has always released a new expansion quarterly, and Scourge has received the most praise from players so far. This can also be seen from players’ desire to buy POE Currency.

Grinding Gear Games likes to change its ARPG mechanics in major ways at the beginning of a new league. Since its initial release, the world of Wraeclast has undergone over 30 major content updates, and it is constantly changing. The update 3.17.0 that will bring the next league of the game is no exception.

The official Path of Exile Twitter released an announcement that with the update, the game’s prediction mechanism will disappear. Since 2016, as part of the game, predictions have changed the future of players’ characters in various ways. They do this by triggering events or changing the results of certain actions. Players can spend POE Currency on unlocking prophecies.

Grinding Gear Games elaborated that although this mechanism has been a core part of the game since its addition, they believe it is outdated and surpassed by other updates. Players who want to use POE Currency, Prophecies and Pale Council fragments can grab this last month, when they will be removed from the player’s inventory along with Navali. The patch is scheduled to be released in January 2022.

Whether it is a new league or Scourge, many players need to spend enough POE Currency to get a better advantage. So before the new league comes, players may wish to Buy POE Currency to prepare for it.
