The story that's taking place within 7.2.5 is a bit more recent

  • If we had WoTLK Classic Gold released it in 7.2 I'd argue that it's likely to feel like we didn't get enough time to play Nighthold. There are many guilds that are exploring certain bosses from the final tier If we'd waited for a longer time, it could be like we'd been being in Nighthold all night. Some times, a level of raiding can get boring and lose attention, which is why separating those two elements has made it easier. It allows us a more time to hear feedback from players and feel that players are reacting to the game they're playing and release content whenever it's right for us.

With the size of 7.2 was Do you feel more pressure to deliver more during the next patch? Do you feel you have the ability to concentrate on class modifications and other things you'd anticipate from.5 patches in the first place?

I'm not sure if this is "pressure" or "pressure" that we experience. It's because, as WoW's development progresses and our team has grown larger and our efficiency has probably also increased, and so it's likely that patches tend to become larger as time passes. However, that doesn't mean every patch needs to be bigger than the one before it. 7.2.5 certainly isn't the same as 7.2 however it wasn't intended to be. This is more an opportunity to look at different areas of Azeroth that aren't linked with that Legion storyline. 7.2 dealt with the battle at Broken Shore. Broken Shore and the Legionfall campaign, which is very important to the tale of Legion which is working with Illidan and fighting the Legion.

The story that's taking place within 7.2.5 is a bit more recent. It's a collaboration with Chromie and she's not in Dalaran. She's located in Wyrmrest located in Northrend This means that this material, along with other things we've seen in other smaller patches, such as those of the Brawlers Guild, aren't necessarily linked to Legion. This also means they'll exist for longer or at the very least, relevant for a longer time. It's likely that you won't play through the Legionfall campaign until one or two expansions down the road However, you'll still be able to complete the Chromie scenario, or play one of the mini-holidays, or any of the other similar events.

What's the reaction on WoTLK Gold micro-holidays? I believe it's been six months since they've been launched. Is there a plan to extend the number of them? Are there certain points at which you feel there are more than you need?
