  • In an interview with VG247, Amazon Games' franchise director Soomin Park was asked about whether the game will be ported to Xbox and PlayStation - especially after the success of its main rival Diablo 3. "If Lost Ark on consoles is something that fans really want Lost Ark Gold, then I think it's something both sides would consider," he said.

    In relation to Diablo, Park did allude to the rivalry between Blizzard's long-running series. "We believe there's an opportunity for Lost Ark to establish itself as a major player which is evident by the level of success the game has had so far," he said.

    Park is also asked why it took so long for Lost Ark to transition from Asian popularity to global success.

    "The demand was there. Smilegate had put years into making improvements to the game and we worked with us in bringing it to an entirely new player base, with millions of gamers now able to play this game experience for the very first experience," he said.

    It's also possible to link to South Korean culture, following the enormous international success of Kpop artists and TV shows such as Netflix's Squid Game.

    "I believe there is an emerging trend of globalisation in content across all media entertainment, and an increasing interest in international experiences that allow us to discover cultures from all over the world," he said.

    "Korean pop culture that includes TV and music is becoming more popular in the West. Games are a natural evolution of this trend."

    Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG have said they would consider the possibility of bringing Lost Ark to console if fan demand was high enough cheap Lost Ark Gold.
