As the PSL (Pakistan Super League) came back to Pakistan by organizing the matches in Lahore and Karachi. It is a tremendous come back of International cricket to the home grounds of the country. It has given the hope to our nation that international cricket is coming back home. Last year west indies cricket team came to Pakistan, now there are great chances that other international team will come to Pakistan. Before that our team had to travel to the UAE for playing home series.
International cricket was officially banned in Pakistan in 2009 because of the shooting incident on Sri Lankan cricket team by which other international cricket teams denied to play in Pakistan anymore.
But now the bad time has passed and finally, international cricket is back in Pakistan. Our Armed forces have fought against terrorism and overcome successfully now People around the world come for tourism and now for the sake of game as we can see the PSL that international players came to Pakistan to play and there were tight security measures for them.
Through huge success of PSL Pakistan sports is coming back to its life again and by this, it’s a clear message to the people around the world that Pakistan is a peaceful country and we have fought with bravery as a nation against terrorism.
The 4th season of PSL was a masterpiece and credit goes to PCB (Pakistan cricket board) who organized all matches of event amazingly and to our Armed forces, they provided security to make sure of everyone's safety and to our PM Imran Khan. Imran Khan also said that this event was organized so beautifully that the next year whole event of PSL is going to b held in Pakistan.
By the success of PSL, we can see the emerging players to come forward and show their talent. It will help our youngsters to use the platform and show their capability. Now it is a big opportunity for the new ones to show their enthusiasm and passion for the game.
This Success of PSL has brought international cricket to home but it will bring other sports to home ground, it gave a pathway to other sports in Pakistan that if cricket league can be successful than other sports event can be successful too. Like the others, games in Pakistan are left back for so many years. It’s not only about cricket to come back as the ark of light but it’s also the responsibility of our all-sports regulatory bodies to overcome their flaws and fill the gaps so that we can represent our nation in all international games but not just cricket.
It’s time to show the world that we r not terrorist or involved in terrorism, we are also peace lover; we love the sports we love the game. We have high hope that the incoming future we will be hosting all kind of sports event in Pakistan.
